The Kitchener Design Centre is the heart of innovation and technical activity at IGNIS. The Centre seats more than 25 engineers (many with advanced degrees) in a 4,500 sq ft facility. Over 60% of our scientists and engineers hail from the University of Waterloo, with experience ranging from 30 years to new graduates.
Through a strong collaborative relationship with the University of Waterloo, IGNIS carries out advanced research within the University's state-of-the-art facilities, which includes a world class R&D cleanroom geared specifically to thin film transistors and advanced processing technologies.
